(Allah’s clarification in His Book of the reality of man for himself, and his poverty and weakness) And thus he knows from the reality of his own self *** and its attributes through the reality of gnosis, he knows its constraints

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh :"And thus he knows from the reality of his own self *** and its attributes through the reality of gnosis"
And this task is that a person knows himself, knows its reality, and knows that it is treacherous and deceitful, except for whom Allah protects. Therefore he says:
"He knows from the reality of his own self *** and its attributes through the reality of gnosis
he knows its constraints"
He knows it with a sukun (silent letter) for the sake of the meter
"And he knows that it is *** created and a creature by explanation
And thus he knows what is in it of the *** needs, destitution, and deficiency"

He knows what is in it of needs, and that he is in need of Allah, and that he has no independence from Allah for the blink of an eye. He also knows what is in it of destitution, that it is destitute were it not for the creation of Allah. Allah the Mighty and Majestic says:
O mankind, you are those in need of Allah, while Allah is the Free of need, the Praiseworthy. يا أيها الناس أنتم الفقراء إلى الله والله هو الغني الحميد
[Fatir 35:15]
And he knows what is in it of deficiency, for man is deficient unless Allah grants him perfection
And Allah has extracted you from the wombs of your mothers not knowing a thing والله أخرجكم من بطون أمهاتكم لا تعلمون شيئا
[An-Nahl 16:78]
