The Perfection of Allah (Mighty and Majestic) and the Imperfection of Everything Other Than Him

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : Allah (Mighty and Majestic) is perfect; neither drowsiness nor sleep overtakes Him. He provides sustenance but is not fed; He has no need for food, drink, or anything else. He is perfectly self-sufficient (Blessed and Exalted is He). Everything other than Him is in need of Him. For this reason, creation turns to their Lord (Mighty and Majestic), asking Him for their needs, the relief of distress, and the attainment of good. The time has ended.
The student: ...

The Shaykh : Except for the impossibility of imperfection.
The reader: In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
