The meaning of the poet's statement: "And that planting returns dry and withered *** Or lacking in fruits every season"

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : He says:
"So that planting returns dry and withered *** or lacking in fruit every season"
It is true that if the desires, doubts, and—may Allah protect us from that—shahwat grow around it, the faith will diminish and may even vanish entirely. For this reason, the scholars said: "Indeed, sins are the herald of disbelief". He says:
"So that planting returns dry and withered *** or lacking in fruit every season
You see him plowing ceaselessly"
or "plowing ceaselessly, his yield *** scant, and this is among the greatest of losses"
You see the farmer plowing constantly, but the yield is small because of these weeds that grow around it, affecting it in the soil and in the air.
"And by Allah, if he had uprooted the plants and had *** vision for that thorn and darnel
he would have come with [yields] like mountains"

"If he uprooted the plants" means he removed them and dug them up, yes, until this harmful plant was gone.
"he would have come with [yields] like mountains, his produce *** and it would have been multiples without count"
The author (may Allah have mercy on him) intends by this example that a person should strive to look at what has grown around his heart, or rather around the planting of the Merciful One, which is faith in his heart, so that he may remove it and purify himself from it, and Allah is the One to be sought for help.
