Continuation of the Explanation of the Hadith: (Jabir ibn 'Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with both of them) said: The Jews used to say)

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : He said:
When a man has intercourse with his wife through the vagina but being on her back إذا أتى الرجل امرأته من دبرها في قبلها
Sahih Muslim 1435a
: This means he approached her from the back, but in the same orifice in the front.
The child would be strabismic كان الولد أحول
: The strabismic one is the one whose black of the eye, or one of his eyes, is turned toward one side.
فنزلت: نساؤكم حرث لكم فأتوا حرثكم أنى شئتم So it was revealed: "Your wives are a place of sowing for you, so approach your place of sowing in whatever manner you wish": This means that Allah revealed this verse to refute the Jews' claim that the child would be strabismic. The way it is a refutation is that when Allah permitted us to approach this place of sowing in whatever manner we wish, it indicated that there is no punishment for that, because the child being strabismic is a punishment, and there is no punishment for what is permissible.
He said: فنزلت: نساؤكم حرث لكم So it was revealed: "Your wives are a place of sowing for you": That is, the place of sowing is a place of cultivation, just as the earth is a place of sowing for a man to put seeds in and plants to come out, so the woman is a place of sowing for the man to put the semen in and the child to come out by the permission of Allah (Mighty and Majestic).
And His saying:
So approach your harvest فأتوا حرثكم
means: Approach the place of your sowing, which is the front, because it is the place where the sowing takes place.
And His saying:
in whatever manner you wish أنَّى شئتم
: The apparent meaning is that "whenever" here is an adverb of place, meaning: from wherever you wish, facing forward, facing backward, or on your side. Yes, the important thing is that the approach is in the front. This is the meaning of the hadith.
