Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : He said, may Allah have mercy on him:
"Suppose you interpreted and it was permissible for you to declare as disbelievers those who differ from you without proof"
It means they assumed that you interpreted and that what you interpreted was permissible and became the truth. Is it that one who differs from you without proof is declared a disbeliever? The answer is no, because if we declared as disbelievers those who differed from us in independent legal reasoning, it would follow that they would also declare us disbelievers in our independent legal reasoning, because our independent legal reasoning is no more likely to be correct than theirs.
"This audacity, boldness, and ignorance, woe to you, O faction of tyranny"
Audacity is the opposite of what? It is the opposite of good character. Boldness is the opposite of caution and tranquility. Ignorance is the opposite of knowledge. "Woe to you" means woe to you, O faction of tyranny.
"Allah is the Greatest, this is the punishment of one who abandons the two revelations for opinions and nonsense"
It means that what occurred from them, which is their declaring believers as disbelievers when they differ from them, its cause is what? Abandoning the two revelations, the Book and the Sunnah, for opinions, that is, for the sake of opinions, for the sake of opinions and nonsense. So if a person abandons the Qur'an and the Sunnah, he is afflicted with such a great calamity, which is declaring the people of truth and faith as disbelievers.
