(Explanation of the bewilderment of the best of them due to their failure to reach the truth, and the meaning of the molar) Those matters became similar to them*** just as paths are confused with mazes, so you see the best of them

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh :"Those matters became similar to them*** just as paths are confused with mazes
So you see the best of them all bewildered*** in the wandering, striking the molar
So you see the best of them all bewildered*** "
Well done.
"*** in the wandering, striking the molar of the companions"
It means: The best of these people are found to be bewildered, because they were prevented from reaching the truth. Why? Because they did not take the paths of truth, and they did not enter the houses from their doors, so the matters became similar to them and they became bewildered, striking the molar of the companions. The molar is the farthest of the molars, and the custom is that when a person regrets, yes, he strikes his tooth. You find him, for example, sitting bewildered, hmm, striking his tooth in regret. And Allah the Exalted said:
And the Day the wrongdoer will bite on his hands [in regret] he will say, "Oh, I wish I had taken with the Messenger a way. ويوم يعض الظالم على يديه يقول يا ليتني اتخذت مع الرسول سبيلا
[Al-Furqan 25:27]
So the companions either remain striking their teeth, or they bite their hands.
