Another guidance regarding the story of Ma'n and his father.

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : The hadith of Ma'n and his father: Is it not the case that we say this situation was contingent upon the father's intention that this charity reach someone other than his son? Thus, it was contingent upon knowing the legal ruling. It was as if he wanted something but did not know the legal ruling in it. So the matter was based on this foundation, and he referred it to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), who removed this difficulty by saying, "For you, Yazid, is what you intended, and for you, Ma'n, is what you took." This means that the matter here was contingent upon, as it were, knowing the legal ruling between the father and his son, not upon litigation.

The Shaykh : In any case, a perspective has been mentioned.
