What is the ruling on a man who dies and gives his wealth to his daughter, leaving nothing for his other children?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : What is the ruling on a man who dies and gives his wealth to his daughter, leaving nothing for his other children?

The Shaykh : It is not permissible for a deceased person to bequeath to one of his children to the exclusion of the others. If he makes such a bequest, it is an invalid bequest, and it is not permissible to carry it out. Its ruling is as if he had not made any bequest at all. The wealth he left behind is to be divided among the heirs according to the system of Islamic inheritance law. Peace be upon you, and Allah’s mercy and blessings.
Abu Layla : Our Shaykh, we would like to introduce the brothers to you.

The Shaykh : Please.
