Is it permissible to combine Jumu'ah and 'Asr, adhering to the principle established by the Shaykh al-Islam: "The times of the prayers are five in times of ease and comfort, and three in times of hardship and difficulty"?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Mashhur: I recall a report from the Shaykh al-Islam (may Allah have mercy on him) stating, "The times of the prayers are five in times of ease and comfort, and three in times of hardship and difficulty." Based on this, I ask: Is combining Jumu'ah and 'Asr closer to being derived from this general principle, or is it a departure from the hadith in the two Sahihs of Ibn 'Abbas regarding seven and eight?

The Shaykh : Nothing takes the Jumu'ah prayer out of this principle and prevents us from associating it with the Zuhr prayer, provided that the reason permitting and justifying the combination is clear?
Mashhur: It is clear.

The Shaykh : Praise be to Allah.
