Faith in the Books

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh :
and His angels and His books and His messengers وَمَلائِكَتِهِ وَكُتُبِهِ وَرُسُلِهِ
[Al-Baqarah 2:285]
We know some things about the books, and more of the books are hidden from us, so we believe in the books in general, and that every messenger whom Allah sent was sent down with a true book. But which books do we know? You?
The student: The scrolls of Ibrahim, the scrolls of Musa, the Torah, and the Gospel.

The Shaykh : And the Qur'an, my brother. All right, take a rest. The first thing that falls under the books is the Qur'an, without doubt, the Book of Allah.
The Torah was revealed to whom? To Musa. The Gospel to 'Isa. The Psalms to Dawud. The scrolls of Ibrahim and Musa. As for the scrolls of Ibrahim, we do not know for them anything except this name. As for the scrolls of Musa, it is said that they are the Torah, and it is said that they are something else, and Allah knows best.
