About the Scrolls of Ibrahim and Musa

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Q: It is known that the revealed heavenly books are four: the Torah, the Psalms, the Gospel, and the Qur'an. What about the Scrolls of Ibrahim and Musa mentioned in the Noble Qur'an in verses 18 and 19 of Surat al-A'la? I ask you to provide a brief overview and definition of these purified scrolls.
A: Allah, Glorified and Exalted is He, has informed us that He sent His messengers with clear proofs and the Zabur, as He said: :
(43) And We sent not before you except men to whom We revealed [Our message]. So ask the people of the message if you do not know. (44) [We sent them] with clear proofs and written ordinancesوَمَا أَرْسَلْنَا مِنْ قَبْلِكَ إِلا رِجَالًا نُوحِي إِلَيْهِمْ فَاسْأَلُوا أَهْلَ الذِّكْرِ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ لا تَعْلَمُونَ * بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ وَالزُّبُرِ
[Al-Nahl: 43 - 44]. The Zabur are the books. And He, Glorified and Exalted is He, said in Surat al-Hadid:
We have already sent Our messengers with clear evidences and sent down with them the Scripture and the balance that the people may maintain [their affairs] in justice.
[Al-Hadid 57:25]
the verse [Al-Hadid: 25].
And He, Glorified and Exalted is He, specified the Scrolls of Ibrahim and Musa in the Surah: "Exalt the name of your Lord, the Most High." And He, Glorified and Exalted is He, clarified from these books and scrolls the Torah revealed to Musa, the Psalms revealed to Dawud, the Gospel revealed to 'Isa, and the Qur'an revealed to Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him).
And the servants have no knowledge except what Allah has taught them in His Book or through the tongue of His Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him). And success is from Allah.
