The Shaykh : The pants that resemble men's pants are forbidden because of what? Because of imitating the disbelievers. As for what does not resemble men's pants, it is a means close to exposing the 'awrah, because pants, as you know, reveal the size of the thighs, buttocks, and legs. Perhaps today they are wide and loose and do not reveal much, but after a few days, women will use what was tight, and perhaps they will use what is the color of the skin, so she remains as if she is naked.
Some people say: What if she wears this in front of her husband, and there is no one in the house, or in the bedroom?
The answer: If this resembles a man's pants, it is what? It is forbidden. If it does not resemble it, why does she wear it in front of her husband? What is the benefit? Is it not permissible for her to be naked in front of her husband? It is permissible, and her being naked is more conducive to desire if she wants that.
