Do the people of the lower ranks in Paradise move to the higher ranks for the purpose of visiting?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : May Allah reward you. A questioner asks: As is well known, Paradise has ranks. Do the people of the lower ranks move to the higher ranks for the purpose of visiting, or the reverse?

The Shaykh : Allah (Mighty and Majestic) says regarding the people of Paradise:
And you will have therein whatever your souls desire, and you will have therein whatever you request [or wish]
[Fussilat 41:31]
This verse is general and comprehensive; whatever a person desires, he will find it there. Among these things, if he desires to visit a companion whose rank is higher than his own, there is no impediment to that due to the generality of the evidence. However, Allah (Mighty and Majestic) says:
And those who believed and whose descendants followed them in faith - We will join with them their descendants, and We will not deprive them of anything of their deeds
[At-Tur 52:21]
This is the one who ascends in rank until he joins the high ones. If a person has offspring, and the offspring are the younger of his children, they ascend until they reach his rank. For this reason, he said:
whose descendants followed them in faith
[At-Tur 52:21]
As for one who is separated from his children and has a spouse or offspring, his rank is in his place. However, if he wishes to visit his father or one of his relatives, there is no impediment to that, as it appears from the texts of the Book and the Sunnah. Yes.
