I have performed Hajj more than once wearing the full, prescribed hijab, but I did not wear gloves because I knew that it is one of the prohibitions of ihram for me while I am in the state of ihram.

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : I have performed Hajj more than once and was wearing the full, prescribed hijab, but I did not wear gloves because I knew that it is one of the prohibitions of ihram for me while I am in the state of ihram. Instead, I hid my hands inside the abaya and covered my face completely. Is there any prohibition in covering my face? I ask for your guidance, may you be rewarded.

The Shaykh : Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and I send prayers and peace upon our Prophet Muhammad, and upon his family and his Companions, and upon those who follow them with excellence until the Day of Judgment:
Wearing gloves while in the state of ihram is something the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade, so it is one of the prohibitions of ihram, as the questioner stated.
As for covering the face, what is prescribed for the woman in the state of ihram is to uncover it, except if there are non-mahram men around her. In that case, she must cover it, as Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) reported: "When the riders passed by them and were alongside them, they would cover their faces, and when they had passed them, they would uncover their faces".
There is no blame on a woman if her hijab touches her face, contrary to the opinion of some scholars who say that the hijab must not touch her face, because this condition has no evidence from the Sunnah.
