Is there repentance for one who kills himself?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : May Allah reward you with good. A questioner asks: Is there repentance for one who commits intentional murder, and what is the stronger position in this matter? May Allah reward you with good.

The Shaykh : I will recite the verse for you, and it is sufficient as an answer. Allah Mighty and Majestic said:
And those who do not invoke with Allah another deity والذين لا يدعون مع الله إلها آخر
[Al-Furqan 25:68]
This means shirk (associating partners with Allah).
or kill the soul which Allah has forbidden [to be killed], except by right, and do not commit unlawful sexual intercourse. And whoever should do that will meet a penalty. (69) Multiplied for him is the punishment on the Day of Resurrection, and he will abide therein humiliated - ولا يقتلون النفس التي حرم الله إلا بالحق ولا يزنون ومن يفعل ذلك يلق أثاما يضاعف له العذاب يوم القيامة ويخلد فيه مهانا
[Al-Furqan 25:68-69]
Complete the verse, my brother. No, one by one. The question is specific.

The questioner :
Except for those who repent, believe and do righteous work. For them Allah will replace their evil deeds with good. And ever is Allah Forgiving and Merciful.
[Al-Furqan 25:70]
.

The Shaykh : Well done. Rest.
Except for those who repent, believe and do righteous work. For them Allah will replace their evil deeds with good. And ever is Allah Forgiving and Merciful.
[Al-Furqan 25:70]
And Allah the Exalted said:
Say, "O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins قل يا عبادي الذين أسرفوا على أنفسهم لا تقنطوا من رحمة الله إن الله يغفر الذنوب جميعا
[Az-Zumar 39:53]
Except for killing. Did Allah say "except for killing"? No. Allah forgives all sins. So whoever repents from a sin, Allah accepts his repentance. But know that intentional murder involves three rights. Listen to them: The first right is for Allah Mighty and Majestic, because Allah has forbidden the killing of the soul except by right. It is by scholarly consensus that repentance from this is valid, and the texts from the Book and the Sunnah are clear in this regard. The second right is for the awliya (close friends of Allah) of the murdered person, who are his heirs. The right of these people is that the killer surrenders himself to them and says, "Yes, I killed your companion, and I am ready now for whatever you decide: retaliation, blood money, or pardon." And the choice is for whom, my brothers?

The questioner : ...

The Shaykh : For the heirs of the murdered person. Good, his repentance is valid because he fulfilled their right.
The third right is for the murdered person, the one who was deprived of his worldly life by the command and decree of Allah Mighty and Majestic. But he has a right that would have remained if he had not been killed. Do we know that this right is dropped by repentance or not? The answer is no. The right of the murdered person will be on the Day of Resurrection. It is narrated from Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that there is no repentance for the killer. This report from Ibn Abbas is understood in light of what? In light of the right of the murdered person. As for the right of Allah and the right of the awliya (close friends of Allah) of the murdered person, repentance is possible in that. And what I see, what I see, is that if the repentance is valid, then Allah the Exalted will bear the right of the murdered person on behalf of the repentant person. He will bear the right of the murdered person and reward the murdered person according to the extent of his injustice, meaning according to what he was wronged. Because the texts regarding the validity of the killer's repentance are general, and Allah the Exalted is the most generous of the generous. So the correct view is that the one who commits intentional murder has repentance, and if he repents, Allah accepts his repentance in every aspect. Yes.

The questioner : Good, O Shaykh, does he have to fast...

The Shaykh : No, no. There is no kaffarah (expiation) for intentional murder. There is no kaffarah. Yes.

The questioner : May Allah reward you with good. This questioner says: What about a woman wearing transparent and short clothes and pants...

The Shaykh : But here is an issue. If someone said, "I will kill and then repent," is that permissible? It is not permissible. If someone said, "I will eat during Ramadan while fasting and then repent," is that acceptable? No. First, because he may not be granted the opportunity to repent, may Allah protect us from that. Second, he may die before he repents. Therefore, it is not permissible for a person to say, "I will commit the sin and then repent from it." This is not correct. Yes.
