Is there repentance for the one who kills intentionally?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : Our Shaykh, is there repentance for the one who kills intentionally?

The Shaykh : Does he fight what?

The questioner : The one who kills intentionally, is it not a mistake that he has no repentance?

The Shaykh : Does the one who kills intentionally have repentance?

The questioner: Yes.

The Shaykh : Of course, he has repentance.

The questioner : How do you mean?

The Shaykh : Do you not read His saying—Exalted is He—describing the servants of Allah:
(68) And those who do not invoke with Allah another deity or kill the soul which Allah has forbidden [to be killed], except by right, and do not commit unlawful sexual intercourse. And whoever should do that will meet a penalty. (69) Multiplied for him is the punishment on the Day of Resurrection, and he will abide therein humiliated - (70) Except for those who repent, believe and do righteous work. For them Allah will replace their evil deeds with good. And ever is Allah Forgiving and Merciful.
[Al-Furqan 25:68-70]
This is from the perspective of the text and from the perspective of correct reasoning: Is the killing of a Muslim by a Muslim without legal right worse than associating partners with Allah—Mighty and Majestic—or not?

The questioner : Associating partners with Allah.

The Shaykh : Fine, if a polytheist repents, his repentance is not accepted, then a fortiori the repentance of the killer is accepted. Let us proceed, Professor.
The student : ... .

The Shaykh : Oh Allah.
The student : O Shaykh.
