What is the evidence for placing the hands on the thighs after bowing?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : This questioner wants evidence for placing the hands on the thighs after rising from bowing.

The Shaykh : Yes. It is established in the two Sahihs and others from Ibn 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with him and his father)
That the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to raise his hands in prayer when he said the takbir of ihram, when he bowed, and when he raised his head from bowing أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلما كان يرفع يديه في الصلاة إذا كبر تكبيرة الإحرام وإذا ركع وإذا رفع رأسه من الركوع
. Likewise, it is authentic from him that he raised his hands in a fourth place, which is standing up from the first tashahhud. As for anything other than that, no sunnah is established from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) regarding it, meaning raising the hands when prostrating or when rising from prostration; this is not established from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). Only four places are established. Say it, my brother. You. You. Yes. Four places where the hands are raised in prayer; say it, may Allah reward you with good, and you are standing so the brothers can hear you.
