Clarification that 'Isa (peace be upon him) was not killed nor crucified, but rather Allah the Exalted raised him up, and he will descend.

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : Rather, they actually claimed that they killed him and crucified him, but Allah made him appear to them as such; He cast his likeness upon one of them, and they said, "This is 'Isa," so they killed him and crucified him. They claimed that they killed the Messiah, 'Isa ibn Maryam, and crucified him. Allah, Blessed and Exalted is He, said:
And they did not kill him, nor did they crucify him; but [another] was made to resemble him to them. And indeed, those who differ over it are in doubt about it. They have no knowledge of it except the following of assumption. And they did not kill him, for certain. (158) Rather, Allah raised him to Himself. And ever is Allah Exalted in Might and Wise.
[An-Nisa 4:157-158]
So 'Isa ibn Maryam (peace and blessings be upon him) was not killed and was not crucified. Among the misguidance of the Christians and the foolishness of their minds is that they used to sanctify the cross. Why? Because they claim that 'Isa was crucified on it. Reason dictates that they should break the cross, since their prophet was crucified on it. How can you sanctify something on which your prophet was crucified? Crucifixion is undoubtedly a humiliation.
Indeed, the penalty for those who wage war against Allah and His Messenger and strive upon earth [to cause] corruption is none but that they be killed or crucified إنما جزاء الذين يحاربون الله ورسوله ويسعون في الأرض فساداً أن يقّتلوا أو يصلّبوا
[Al-Ma'idah 5:33]
But the Christians are fully described by Allah as being misguided.
not of those who have evoked [Your] anger or of those who are astray. غير المغضوب عليهم ولا الضّالين
[Al-Fatihah 1:7]
They have misguidance and foolishness. So this is part of their great foolishness: that they sanctify the cross on which their prophet was crucified, as they claim. We bear witness to Allah, His angels, and all His creation that 'Isa was not killed and was not crucified, but rather Allah honored him and raised him to Himself, and he will descend in the end times, ruling with justice, breaking the cross, and killing the pig, and he will not accept anything but Islam.
