The Shaykh : Or among the most important things we have heard is the saying of Allah, Blessed and Exalted is He: [Adh-Dhariyat 51:56-57].
For what purpose did Allah create the jinn and mankind? Is it so that they may enjoy this worldly life as beasts and livestock enjoy it? Is it so that they may populate palaces and erect buildings? Is it so that some of them may be enemies or friends to others? Is it so that they may increase in wealth?
The purposes are many, but the wisdom for which Allah created the jinn and mankind is a single wisdom, which is the worship of Allah, Mighty and Majestic. So what is the worship for which Allah created the jinn and mankind?
(56) And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me. (57) I do not want from them any provision, nor do I want them to feed Me.
