The meaning of the saying of Allah the Exalted: "As for he who gives and fears Allah and believes in the best, We will make easy for him the easy way..."

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh :
As for he who gives and fears Allah أما من أعطى واتقى
This is a detail of the divergence
So as for he who gives and fears Allah and believes in the good, We will make easy for him the easy فأما من أعطى واتقى وصدق بالحسنى فسنيسره لليسرى
. This verse encompasses the performance of commands
and the avoidance of prohibitions and the belief in the reports, and this is the Shari'ah.
The Shari'ah consists of commands, prohibitions, and reports.
This verse included the three. Are you with us? How did he give? By giving and performing the command. The one who performs the command is a giver, either he gives his wealth, like zakah, or he gives his effort, like physical acts of worship such as prayer and others.
He feared. What did he fear? He feared sins and avoided them.
He believed in the best, meaning he believed in the good word, which is the true report.
So now, what does the verse encompass? It encompasses the entire religion. The performance of commands is in His saying?
The student: The avoidance of prohibitions.

The Shaykh : No, no. The performance of commands is in His saying?
The student: Allah knows best.

The Shaykh : Allah knows best, and we, praise be to Allah, Allah has given us knowledge. Where did you go?
The student: Present.

The Shaykh : Present in body and heart?
The student: I was distracted a little.

The Shaykh : You were distracted a little. Rest. Please, go ahead.
The student: ... .

The Shaykh : No, my brother. Glory be to Allah. Rest.
The student: He gave.

The Shaykh : He gave in His saying "he gave." Perfect, because "gave" means what?
The student: Giving.

The Shaykh : Giving. Good. Giving wealth and giving the self. Good. Also, the avoidance of prohibitions?
The student: He feared.

The Shaykh : In His saying "he feared." Well done, may Allah bless you. Belief in the reports, yes?
The student: He believed.

The Shaykh : In His saying "he believed in the best." So it encompassed the entire religion. This is the straight path.
We will make easy for him the easyفسنيسره لليسرى
We will make easy for him. The letter "sin" here, where do the linguists say it is? Please.
The student: Realization.

The Shaykh : Well done. It is the realization of the matter along with its nearness. Rest. The realization of the matter along with its nearness. So the "sin" indicates that the matter is realized and that it is what? Near.
So he who gives and fears Allah فمن أعطى واتقى
The answer to the condition
We will make easy for him فسنيسره
. And the verb in His saying:
make easy for him نيسره
refers to whom?
The student: He who gave.

The Shaykh : No, my brother. How? He who gave, yes. Stand up. In discussion, except for Allah.
Is Allah one or multiple? Does "make easy" indicate singular or plural?
The student: Plural for magnification.

The Shaykh : Well done. So it is plural for magnification. May Allah bless you.
Did the Christian use this as evidence for the multiplicity of gods? Yes. The Christian says that Allah is the third of three. He said, "I have evidence: 'We will make easy for him.' This is plural."
The student: He intends magnification.

The Shaykh : Good. The one who says this and leaves the saying of Allah the Exalted:
And there is no god but the One God. وما من إله إلا إله واحد
Did he follow the ambiguous and leave the clear, or did he take the clear and apply the ambiguous to it?
The student: He followed the ambiguous and left the clear.

The Shaykh : Well done. He followed the ambiguous, and these are the ones
those in whose hearts is deviation [from truth], they will follow that of it which is unspecific الذين في قلوبهم زيغ فيتبعون ما تشابه منه
[Ali 'Imran 3:7]
. Rest. And for this reason, if the Christian says that the gods are multiple, we say, "Listen, Allah has declared you a disbeliever with this statement and has lied to you." Allah declared him a disbeliever and lied to him. Allah the Exalted said:
They have certainly disbelieved who say, "Allah is the third of three." لقد كفر الذين قالوا إن الله ثالث ثلاثة
[Al-Ma'idah 5:73]
This is a ruling of disbelief and lying
And there is no god but the One God. وما من إله إلا إله واحد
.
So if you are truthful and use the word of Allah as evidence against us, then Allah is lying to you and declaring you a disbeliever for what you said.
But you are one who deviates, following the ambiguous.
Very well.
So we return to the saying of Allah the Exalted:
We will make easy for him the easy فسنيسره لليسرى
We will make easy for him the easy way. What is the easy way?
The easy way is everything that becomes easy of matters, meaning that Allah the Exalted makes matters easy for him, so that even the difficult matters of this world become easy for him. Why? Because he is pleased with Allah as Lord, Manager, God, and Wise, who does not decree anything except for a wisdom. So he is always pleased, and his matters are made easy, so that even in difficult matters they become easy and smooth for him, until you find him content with everything Allah has decreed for him. If he is given, he is grateful; if he is tested, he is patient; and if he sins, he seeks forgiveness, because he asks for the easy way. Try this, my brother. Try it, and you will find that what Allah has informed about is true.
Allah the Exalted said:
Whoever does righteousness, whether male or female, while he is a believer من عمل صالحا من ذكر وأنثى وهو مؤمن
[An-Nahl 16:97]
Complete the verse, my brother. Yes, indeed.
The student:
We will give him a good life فلنحيينه حياة طيبة
.

The Shaykh : Well done, may Allah reward you.
The good life, what does it mean? Many children?
The student: ... .

The Shaykh : I mean, not many children?
The student: Yes.

The Shaykh : Good, may Allah bless you. Rest.
The verse did not say, Mighty and Majestic is He, "We will expand for him in provision" to give him wives and children and palaces and vehicles and wealth. No. We will give him what? A good life, where he is always in joy, always in bliss.
Some of the Salaf said: "If the kings and the sons of kings knew what we are in, they would fight us for it with swords".
And Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah said: "In this world there is a Paradise; whoever does not enter it will not enter the Paradise of the Hereafter". What is the Paradise? The bliss of the heart with Allah, Mighty and Majestic, through His remembrance, through His decree and destiny. He is always walking with Allah, obeying His command, avoiding His prohibition, and continuing His remembrance, being pleased with His decree. This, by Allah, is the good life. It is not the bliss of the body. The bliss of the body disappears with the disappearance of the body. But the bliss of the heart is the bliss.
So "We will make easy for him the easy way" means We make all his matters what? Easy. If he intends to worship, it becomes easy for him. If he intends anything that benefits him in his religion and his worldly life, you will find it made easy for him. So We will make easy for him the easy way.
