Is there a guiding word regarding the care for the Noble Qur'an and not insulting it?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : He says: Your Eminence, is there a guiding word regarding the care for the Book of Allah (Mighty and Majestic) and not insulting it?

The Shaykh : Yes, the Noble Qur'an is the speech of Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He), by which He spoke and He cast it down to Jibril, and Jibril cast it down to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family). Allah the Exalted said:
(192) And indeed, the Qur'an is the revelation of the Lord of the worlds. (193) The Trustworthy Spirit has brought it down (194) Upon your heart, [O Muhammad] - that you may be of the warners - (195) In a clear Arabic language. وإنه لتنزيل رب العالمين نزل به الروح الأمين على قلبك لتكون من المنذرين بلسان عربي مبين
[Ash-Shu'ara 26:192-195]
And if the speech of Allah is true, then it is obligatory for it to have the respect that befits it. For this reason, one in a state of major ritual impurity does not read the Qur'an. One in a state of major ritual impurity does not read the Qur'an until he performs the full ritual bath
And no one touches the Qur'an except one who is pure ولا يمس القرآن إلا طاهر
Sahih Ibn Hibban 62:432
If he has not performed the ablution for prayer, he places a barrier between himself and the mushaf, such as a handkerchief, a glove, or something similar. It is not permissible for a person to insult the Noble Qur'an. If he does something that indicates insult with the intention of insulting, then he is a disbeliever. If he does something that indicates insult without the intention, then he has made a mistake. Some people complained to me that among the people in the Sacred Mosque and elsewhere, there are those who do not care about insulting the mushaf; they place it in the row of shoes, so you find a shoe, a mushaf, a shoe, a mushaf. No one approves of this. How can you place the speech of the Lord of the Worlds between the sandals? And some people say: "I did not see it," meaning, some people lower it to their feet while standing, so it is as if it is between their feet, and this is a great error. As for placing the mushaf on good, i.e., pure, ground without that indicating insult, then there is nothing wrong with it. Yes.
