A word by the Shaykh regarding the care for the Noble Qur'an.
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, and upon his family and his Companions, and upon those who follow them with excellence until the Day of Judgment.
As for what follows:
This is the thirty-fifth meeting after two hundred of the meetings known as the Open Door Meeting, which takes place every Thursday of every week, and this Thursday is the seventh of the month of Safar in the year 1421.
We begin this meeting with what Allah opens up for us in the interpretation of verses from the speech of Allah, Blessed and Exalted is He.
And let it be known that the Qur'an is the speech of Allah, Mighty and Majestic, and He spoke it in reality, and He cast it down to Jibril, then Jibril brought it down upon the heart of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family), so he understood it and memorized it, and he would hasten to read it from Jibril out of longing for the Qur'an and eagerness for it, so Allah the Exalted said:[Al-Qiyamah 75:16-18] meaning: when Jibril recites it, follow its recitation, [Al-Qiyamah 75:19].
The Qur'an is the best of speech in its reports, its rulings, its effects, and its impact, and for this reason I urge every person to memorize the Qur'an, reflect on its meanings, and act upon it, because Allah the Exalted elevated this nation when it was striving with the Qur'an and for the Qur'an, so Allah elevated it, and when it turned away and abandoned it, it suffered the humiliation that you know now, and if it returns to the Qur'an and the Sunnah as the predecessors were upon it, its honor and dignity will return to it.
I urge my brothers to learn the Qur'an and the interpretation of the Qur'an, and let them take the interpretation from two paths:
The first: the scholars who are trustworthy in their knowledge, trustworthy in their trustworthiness and their creed.
The second path: books of interpretation, but it is obligatory for us to stay away from interpretations that include the distortion of the Qur'an in the attributes of Allah the Exalted and His names, so let us beware of them.

(16) Move not your tongue with it, [O Muhammad], to hasten with recitation of the Qur'an. (17) Indeed, upon Us is its collection [in your heart] and [to make possible] its recitation. (18) So when We have recited it [through Gabriel], then follow its recitation.
