The Meaning of the Saying of Allah the Exalted: "The path of those upon whom You have bestowed favor, not of those who have earned Your anger or of those who went astray."

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh :
The path of those upon whom You have bestowed favor صراط الذين أنعمت عليهم
[Al-Fatihah 1:7]
He explained them in Surat al-Nisa, so Allah the Exalted said:
And whoever obeys Allah and the Messenger - those ومن يطع الله والرسول فأولئك
[An-Nisa 4:69]
With whom?
with the ones upon whom Allah has bestowed favor of the prophets, the steadfast affirmers of truth, the martyrs and the righteous مع الذين أنعم الله عليهم من النبيين والصديقين والشهداء والصالحين
[An-Nisa 4:69]
not of those who have evoked [Your] anger غير المغضوب عليهم
[Al-Fatihah 1:7]
And these are the ones who were deprived of the guidance of success.
nor those who go astray ولا الضالين
And these are the ones who were deprived of the guidance of direction, those who were deprived of the guidance of success. They are the ones who have earned Your anger. They are those who knew the truth but did not act upon it. Who is at the head of them? The Jews. And the ones who went astray are those who sought the truth but were ignorant of it. And at the head of them are the Christians. But I tell you, the Christians, before the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) was sent, were the ones who went astray. But after the sending of the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) and their denial of him, they are of the first category, namely those who have earned Your anger. Therefore, we say now that the Christians have earned Your anger, and the Jews have earned Your anger, because these Jews and Christians, all of them, denied the Messenger. That is, the Christians denied the Messengers by their denial of Muhammad, and the Jews denied the Messengers by their denial of Isa and Muhammad. So, as for those who have earned Your anger, we take the rule: everyone who knew the truth and did not what? Did not act upon it. And those who went astray are everyone who sought the truth but was not granted success in it. That is, they strayed from it.
not of those who have evoked [Your] anger or of those who are astray. غير المغضوب عليهم ولا الضالين
[Al-Fatihah 1:7]

So the categories of people are three:
Those who knew the truth and acted upon it. These are among those upon whom Allah has bestowed favor.
Those who knew the truth and were arrogant toward it. These are among those who have earned Your anger.
Those who did not know the truth and strayed from it. These are the ones who went astray.
We will limit ourselves to this and now begin with the questions, and we ask Allah to grant us success in the truth. But note, my brothers, that the question is from one person, and the answer is for everyone. Yes, that is right.
