Exegesis of the saying of Allah the Exalted: "And not those who go astray."

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh :
nor those who go astray ولا الضالين
The one who goes astray is the one who acts without knowledge, acting out of ignorance, as Allah Blessed and Exalted is He said:
And monasticism, which they invented ورهبانية ابتدعوها
These are the ones who go astray; they sought the truth but strayed from it. At their head are the Christians. The Christians are astray, but my brothers, are they described as being astray to this day, or did they, after Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) and their disbelief in him, become part of the group before them, namely those upon whom is the anger? Answer me, my brothers: Did the Christians remain astray after the sending of the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) and their knowledge of him, or did they become part of the group before them, namely those upon whom is the anger? Yes, they became part of the group before them, namely those upon whom is the anger, because they knew the truth and contradicted it, and they fought the Muslims in ancient times and in recent times, or they aided those who fight the Muslims in recent times.
