The questioner : May Allah reward you. This questioner says: I was involved in a car accident and remained in the hospital for four days unconscious, and four days after that awake, but I do not know whether I prayed during that time or not. What is obligatory for me in these cases? May Allah reward you.

The Shaykh : As for the first case, which is the man being unconscious, he owes nothing for making up the prayer, because the prayer is not made up if it is left off due to unconsciousness, unless the unconsciousness is caused by the person himself, such as anesthesia, in which case he makes up the prayers that pass while he is unconscious. And if he becomes unconscious for part of the day, his fast is valid and he does not have to repeat it. Yes.
