A woman vowed to fast for the rest of her life; is it permissible to fulfill this vow?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : May Allah reward you with good. This woman says that she vowed to fast for the rest of her life, and she has continued fasting for three years.

The Shaykh : No, it is not permissible for her to fulfill this vow, because fasting for the rest of one's life is forbidden, or at least disliked. Therefore, it is not permissible for her to fulfill this vow. She must expiate her vow with the expiation of an oath: she must feed ten poor people, or clothe them, or free a slave. If she cannot find the means to do so, she must fast for three consecutive days. Yes.

The questioner : May Allah reward you with good.
