A man prayed while his garment contained impurity, but he did not know about it until after the prayer ended. What is the ruling on his prayer?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : A man prayed while his garment contained impurity, but he did not know about the impurity until after the prayer ended. What is the ruling on his prayer?

The Shaykh : The man who prayed while his garment contained impurity and did not know about it until after the prayer ended has a valid prayer. Likewise, if he knew about it before the prayer but forgot to wash it and prayed in that garment while forgetting, his prayer is also valid. This is based on the saying of Allah the Exalted:
Our Lord, do not impose blame upon us if we have forgotten or erred. رَبَّنَا لا تُؤَاخِذْنَا إِنْ نَسِينَا أَوْ أَخْطَأْنَا
[Al-Baqarah 2:286]
So Allah said:
He has done so قد فعلت
And because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)
Jibril came to him while he was leading the people in prayer, and he was wearing sandals that had impurity in them. He informed him that there was impurity in them, so he took them off and continued his prayer. أتاه جبريل وهو يصلي بالناس وعليه نعلان فيهما قذر فأخبره أن فيها قذرا فخلعهما ومضى في صلاته
If the prayer were invalidated by impurity in the state of ignorance, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would have started the prayer over from the beginning.

The questioner : Shaykh.

The Shaykh : No, I did not take it.
