The ruling on one who doubts the impurity of his garment while he is praying
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Q: The brother: M. A. Z. sent a question saying: If the imam doubts the impurity of his garment and does not leave the prayer merely due to the doubt, but when he finishes the prayer he finds the impurity on his garment, what is the ruling? Does he leave the prayer in such a case merely due to the doubt, or does he wait until he completes his prayer?
A: If the one praying doubts the presence of impurity in his garment while he is in prayer, it is not permissible for him to leave it, whether he is an imam, a follower, or praying alone. He must complete his prayer. If he learns after that that there is impurity in his garment, he does not have to make up the prayer according to the more correct of the two opinions of the scholars; because he did not become certain of its presence until after the prayer.
It is established from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he took off his sandals while he was in prayer when Jibril (peace be upon him) informed him that there was filth on them, and he did not restart the beginning of the prayer, but rather he continued in his prayer.
As for if he prays believing that he is in a state of purity, then it becomes clear after the prayer that he is in a state of ritual impurity or that he did not perform the full ritual bath from major ritual impurity, then he must purify himself and repeat the prayer by the consensus of the scholars; due to the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):Jami` at-Tirmidhi 1Sahih (Darussalam) narrated by Muslim in his Sahih, and his saying (peace and blessings be upon him): Sahih Muslim 225 agreed upon for its authenticity.
And success is from Allah.

Salat will not be accepted without purification, nor Charity from Ghulul.
لا تقبل صلاة بغير طهور ولا صدقة من غلولThe prayer of none amongst you would be accepted in a state of impurity until he performs ablution.
لا تقبل صلاة أحدكم إذا أحدث حتى يتوضأAnd success is from Allah.
