If the men's hall is next to the women's hall in wedding halls, and a woman is heard reciting poetry with or without a loudspeaker, is it obligatory to forbid it?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : May Allah preserve you, O Shaykh. In some wedding halls, the women's hall is next to the men's hall. Is it obligatory to forbid it when the voices of women reciting poetry are heard, with or without a loudspeaker?

The Shaykh : As for reciting poetry with a loudspeaker, it must be prevented. It is obligatory for the authorities to prevent it, it is obligatory for the owners of the halls to prevent it, and it is obligatory for the families of the bride and groom to prevent it, because of the harm, fitnah (trial, discord or temptation), and annoyance it causes to the neighbors.
As for the sound coming without a loudspeaker, one must look at the situation: if fitnah (trial, discord or temptation) is feared, then it is obligatory to separate the women from the men. The common occurrence is that fitnah (trial, discord or temptation) is not safe from; the common occurrence is that fitnah (trial, discord or temptation) is not safe from, especially on this night, which is the wedding night, for the souls are prepared for fitnah (trial, discord or temptation).
So we see that the women should be separated from the men in a distant place so that their voices are not heard.

The questioner : May Allah reward you with good.

The Shaykh : Let this be the last question, because only minutes remain, and then the call to the midday prayer will be made. We ask you to allow us to leave. Peace be upon you, and Allah's mercy and blessings.
