What is the ruling on reciting Surat Yasin or Surat al-Ikhlas eleven times at the grave?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : May Allah preserve you, O honorable Shaykh. What is the ruling on reciting Surat Yasin at the grave, or reciting al-Ikhlas? Some people mention to others, saying: "Recite Surat al-Ikhlas eleven times."

The Shaykh : Reciting at the graves is a religious innovation, whether it is "Yasin" or
Say, "He is Allah, [who is] One, قل هو الله أحد
[Al-Ikhlas 112:1]
or "al-Fatihah", so a person should not recite at the grave.
Rather, a person should restrict himself to what came from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and say:
Peace be upon you, O people of this abode, from among the believers and the Muslims, and indeed, if Allah wills, we are to follow you. May Allah have mercy on those of you who have gone before and those who come after. We ask Allah for well-being for us and for you. O Allah, do not deprive us of their reward, and do not test us after them, and forgive us and them.
Then he should leave and not add to this any recitation or anything else. Yes.

The questioner : The ruling on giving a sermon at the grave.

The Shaykh : You see, only one question.

The questioner : The ruling.

The Shaykh : I say: A person is not allowed more than one question. Yes.
