A man has an 'Aqiqah sacrifice; is it permissible for him to honor his workers with it if there are disbelievers among them?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : Peace be upon you, and Allah's mercy and blessings.

The Shaykh : And upon you be peace, and Allah's mercy and blessings.

The questioner : O esteemed Shaykh, a person says: I have an 'Aqiqah sacrifice that I slaughtered, so I honored some of the workers with it, and among them were Muslims and disbelievers. Is it permissible for me to honor them or not?

The Shaykh : First: the 'Aqiqah is a sacrifice for Allah (Mighty and Majestic), and it is not permissible for a person to use it to remove a blame from himself, nor to seek a benefit for himself through it. So, if he honored the workers with it in order for them to increase their work and advise him, that is not permissible. However, if he honored the workers with it because they are poor, there is nothing wrong with that, whether they are Muslims or non-Muslims, and whether there are Muslims with them or not, because Allah the Exalted said in His Book:
Allah does not forbid you from those who do not fight you because of religion and do not expel you from your homes - from being righteous toward them and acting justly toward them. Indeed, Allah loves those who act justly.
