What does a traveler do if he has not prayed the Maghrib prayer and joins a resident imam who is praying the 'Isha' prayer?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : May the peace and mercy of Allah be upon you, esteemed Shaykh.

The Shaykh : And upon you peace and the mercy of Allah

The questioner : The question is: if the traveler intended to combine the Maghrib and 'Isha' prayers by delaying them until he reached a certain area, but when he arrived, the time for 'Isha' had entered, or the adhan had been called, or the iqamah had been performed, how does he proceed?

The Shaykh : And he arrived at his home, or he did not arrive at the town?

The questioner : No, a traveler from his place of residence

The Shaykh : to another place

The questioner : Yes

The Shaykh : and he arrived at the other place

The questioner : Yes

The Shaykh : Yes, he now prays Maghrib, then prays 'Isha' with the congregation. If the iqamah is performed before he prays Maghrib, he joins them with the intention of Maghrib. If he catches the first rak'ah of 'Isha' and the imam stands for the fourth rak'ah, he sits, recites the tashahhud, and says the taslim, then stands with the imam for the remainder of the 'Isha' prayer. If he joins the imam in the 'Isha' prayer in the second rak'ah or any subsequent rak'ah, the matter is clear: if he joins in the second rak'ah, he says the taslim with the imam; if he joins in the third rak'ah, he adds one rak'ah after him; if he joins in the fourth rak'ah, he adds two rak'ahs after him. Yes.
