The reciter: In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and may Allah send blessings and peace upon our Prophet Muhammad, and upon his family and all his Companions.
Imam al-Bukhari said in the Book of Wudu in his Sahih:
It was narrated to us by 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Yunus, who said: It was narrated to us by Hatim ibn Isma'il from al-Ja'd, who said: I heard al-Sa'ib ibn Yazid say:
My maternal aunt took me to the Prophet and said, “My nephew is ill.” So he wiped my head, invoked a blessing on me, then performed ablution, and I drank some of the water he had used. Then I stood up behind his back and looked at the seal of prophecy between his shoulders, like the button on a bride’s pavilion.
Mishkat al-Masabih 476
.

The Shaykh : This is like the previous hadith, the hadith of Mahmud ibn al-Rabi', who said:
On whose face Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) had thrown water from his mouth, the water having been taken from their well while he was still a young boy أنه عقل مجة مجها رسول الله صلّى الله عليه وسلم في وجهه وهو غلام
Sahih al-Bukhari 6354
and he was about five years old. So the scholars of hadith derived from this that it is permissible for a child to narrate a hadith if he understands what he is narrating, and reaching puberty is not a condition for this.
