بينا رسول الله صلّى الله عليه وسلم ساجدThat the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was praying at the House, and Abu Jahl and his companions were sitting, when some of them said to others: Which of you will bring the placenta of a she-camel of the Banu So-and-So and place it on the back of Muhammad when he prostrates? So the most wretched of the group got up and brought it. I watched until the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) prostrated, and he placed it on his back between his shoulders. I was watching and could do nothing; if I had had any protection, I would have done something. He said: They began to laugh and mock one another, while the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) remained in prostration, not raising his head, until Fatimah came and removed it from his back. Then he raised his head and said: "O Allah, be severe with Quraysh," three times. It was hard for them when he invoked against them. He said: And they used to think that supplication in that land was answered. Then he named them: "O Allah, be severe with Abu Jahl, and with Utbah ibn Rabi'ah, and Shibah ibn Rabi'ah, and al-Walid ibn Utbah, and Umayyah ibn Khalaf, and Uqbah ibn Abi Mu'ayt." He named the seventh, but we did not memorize it. He said: By Him in whose hand is my soul, I have seen those whom the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) named lying dead in the well, the well of Badr.
أن النبي صلّى الله عليه وسلم كان يصلي عند البيت وأبو جهل وأصحاب له جلوس، إذ قال بعضهم لبعض : أيكم يجيء بسلى جزور بني فلان فيضعه على ظهر محمّد إذا سجد ؟ فانبعث أشقى القوم فجاء به ، فنظر حتى سجد النبي صلّى الله عليه وسلم وضعه على ظهره بين كتفيه ، وأنا أنظر لا أغني شيئا لو كان لي منعة ، قال فجعلوا يضحكون ويُحيل بعضهم على بعض ورسول الله صلّى الله عليه وسلم ساجد لا يرفع رأسه حتى جاءته فاطمة فطرحت عن ظهره، فرفع رأسه ثم قال : اللهم عليك بقريش . ثلاث مرات، فشق عليهم إذ دعا عليهم ، قال وكانوا يرون أن الدعوة في ذلك البلد مستجابة ثم سمى : اللهم عليك بأبي جهل ، وعليك بعتبة بن ربيعة ، وشيبة بن ربيعة ، والوليد بن عتبة ، وأمية بن خلف ، وعقبة بن أبي معيط - وعد السابع فلم نحفظه - قال : فوالذي نفسي بيده لقد رأيت الذين عد رسول الله صلّى الله عليه وسلم صرعى في القليب قليب بدرThe Shaykh : Praise be to Allah, O Allah, to You belongs all praise.
