The Shaykh : Yes.
The reader: Abdullah ibn Yusuf narrated to us, saying: Malik informed us from Hisham ibn Urwah from his father from Aishah, the Mother of the Believers:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) saw spittle or snot or sputum, sticking to the wall towards Qiblah and scratched it off. أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم رأى في جدار القبلة مخاطًا أو بصاقًا أو نخامةً فحكه

The Shaykh : We have previously mentioned that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) informed us that Allah the Exalted is between him and the qiblah, and we have clarified that this does not contradict what is established regarding His (Exalted and Majestic is He) rising above, because there is nothing like Allah in any of His attributes. We have also previously mentioned that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) guided those who need to spit to spit to their left, or under their foot, or into their garment, to their left as long as they are not a ma'mum with a man to their left, because that would undoubtedly annoy him. As for under their feet, there is no harm, and likewise if one takes the edge of their cloak and spits into it, then folds part of it over the other. However, is folding sufficient, or is scraping necessary? Scraping is necessary, except if folding part of it over the other causes it to stick, in which case there is no need for scraping.
And in this is evidence that nasal discharge and the like of excretions are pure; otherwise, it would not be valid to spit to the left, nor to spit under one's feet or into one's garment. And so, all of a person's excretions are pure, such as saliva, spittle, phlegm, sweat, and the fluid from wounds, and the like, except for what comes out of the two passages. As for what comes out of the two passages, it is of two types: pure and impure. The pure is wind and semen, and the impure is urine, pre-seminal fluid, and feces.
