The reciter: Isma'il ibn Ibrahim narrated to us, saying: Ruh and Muhammad ibn Ja'far informed us from Shu'bah from Muhammad ibn Ziyad from Abu Hurayrah from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), who said: A jinn demon slipped past me yesterday, or a word to that effect, intending to interrupt my prayer. So Allah enabled me to seize it, and I intended to tie it to one of the pillars of the mosque until you all would see it in the morning. Then I remembered the saying of my brother Sulayman: "My Lord, forgive me and grant me a kingdom that should not belong to anyone after me." Ruh said: He released him in a state of humiliation.
The Shaykh : The point of this hadith is clear: a captive or a debtor is tied in the mosque. He said: , the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) seized him And I intended to tie it to one of the pillars of the mosque until you all would see it in the morning. Then I remembered the saying of my brother Sulayman: "My Lord, grant me a kingdom that should not belong to anyone after me." Ruh said: He released him in a state of humiliation., meaning he did not do anything to him. Because the saying of Sulayman: [Sad 38:35] made the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), out of etiquette, not tie it, because if he had tied it, he would have had authority over it. And authority over the jinn is a characteristic of Sulayman. Therefore, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) left it.
