Reading from the poet's words: "And the evidences of events are apparent upon..." to his words: "...the possibility that two beings could possess it"

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The reader: "And the evidences of events are apparent upon *** this created world by proof
And the proofs of tawhid (the oneness of Allah) all testify *** to the createdness of all people and al-Rahman (the Most Merciful)"

The student: ...

The Shaykh : ... Yes.
The reader: "If other than Allah, Glorious is His Majesty, *** had been with Him from eternity, He would be a second Lord
Since He would be independent of the Lord of the Heights, *** then there would be two Lords for us at that time
And the Lord is One in His independence, *** is it possible for two to be independent?
If that were so, it would be a contradiction"

The Shaykh : A contradiction
The reader: "If that were a contradiction and mutual negation, *** then both would be non-existent and impossible
And dominion and oneness encompass both of them, *** each being the opposite of the other, they are two opposites
And for that reason, they are combined in the attributes *** of Allah, so look at that in the Qur'an
So the One, the Subduer, truly, is not *** possible for two beings to possess"
