The meaning of the poet's statement: "And by Allah, then His Messenger has made clear *** The paths of guidance in the utmost clarity

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : He said:
"And by Allah, then His Messenger has made clear *** The paths of guidance in the utmost clarity
So why have you turned away from it, and we *** Have not heard it in any report or in the Qur'an"

From it, meaning: from the evidence they relied upon previously, which is reliance on reason and debate. Why did Allah and His Messenger turn away from it and not use it as a guide?
"But it came to us after the best of our generations *** With the emergence of innovations"
Or the introduction of innovations; both interpretations are permissible. "From Satan
And on the tongue of Jahm came his party *** From every bewildered follower of religious innovation"

Jahm is the origin of denial of the divine attributes in reality. Jahm ibn Safwan was a student of whom? Of al-Ja'd ibn Dirham. But the doctrine was attributed to Jahm because he spread it in the world and made it manifest, so it was attributed to him.
"And for that reason, the rejection of them intensified *** From all the scholars in the lands
They cried out against them from every region, and even threw *** After them the shafts of arrows
They knew what their statement leads to *** And their evidence with the reality of true knowledge
And the brother of ignorance is in the guard of his ignorance *** And ignorance may save from disbelief"

The meaning is: that the scholars began to reject Jahm and everyone who followed his path from all regions, and they knew that their statement leads to great dangers. It leads to the denial of the attributes of Allah (Mighty and Majestic), and to Him being like inanimate matter, not acting, not willing, not speaking, and not sending down a law. It is the ultimate of all calamity. He says
"*** And ignorance may save from disbelief"
The meaning is that a person may reach, through his knowledge, a disbelief from which the ignorant person is saved. For this reason, you find the common Muslims to be better than these deniers of attributes, despite the knowledge they possess. But they were not granted success in good. They attained knowledge but did not gain good through it. They were given intelligence but not piety. Yes.
