The Meaning of the Poet's Statement: (Explaining How the Prayer Was Made Obligatory and the Lightening of Its Number)

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : As the author said
"But he returned from Moses to Him ascending *** Five in the count of the obligation in the reckoning"
He returned from Moses to Allah because the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) was obligated by Allah to fifty prayers, fifty prayers, so he accepted, was pleased, and submitted to Allah outwardly and inwardly. When he descended to the earth, he passed by Moses, and Moses (peace be upon him) had envied the Prophet (peace be upon him) for the virtues that Allah had given him.
So he said to him, "What did Allah obligate upon you and your Ummah?" He said, "He obligated upon me fifty prayers every day and night." He said, "No, your Ummah cannot bear that. I have tested the people and dealt with the Children of Israel with the harshest treatment. So go to your Lord and ask Him for lightening for your Ummah."
This is from the guidance of Allah (Mighty and Majestic), both in making it fifty and in Moses alerting the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him).
So he returned to Allah, ascending from Moses to Allah. فرجع إلى الله صعد من موسى إلى الله
Because Moses was in which of the heavens?
The student: In the sixth

The Shaykh : In the sixth heaven.
He returned to Allah (Mighty and Majestic) and kept going back and forth between Moses and Allah until it became five in reality and fifty in the scale. رجع إلى الله عز وجل وما زال يتردد بين موسى وبين الله حتى صارت خمسا بالفعل وخمسين في الميزان
Praise be to Allah, fifty in the scale, based on the fact that a good deed is ten times its like, because if it were so, the prayers would have no distinction. But fifty in the scale, while we actually pray fifty, is by the reward, because the reward is all the good deeds, so a good deed is ten times its like. The five are fifty, but the meaning is that they are five in the scale, meaning that we are given the reward of fifty prayers. And this, praise be to Allah, is from the mercy of Allah, that Allah (Mighty and Majestic) lightened it for us and gave us what He originally obligated upon us.
