The Meeting of the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) with Musa (peace be upon him)

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The first question of Fatwa number ( 20530 )
Q1: It is stated in the Noble Qur'an that our Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) was ascended to the heavens during his Night Journey from the Sacred Mosque to the Farthest Mosque , and that he was ascended from there to the Lote Tree of the Utmost Boundary . In one hadith, it is mentioned that he met our master Musa (peace be upon him), and that he was advised to supplicate to Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) to reduce the number of daily prayers from fifty to five. In another hadith, it is mentioned that our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) met our master Musa (peace be upon him) in his grave during his journey to the Farthest Mosque . I believe that the Jews fabricated the hadith in order to exalt our master Musa (peace be upon him) and prefer him over our Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him). Will you not satisfy our curiosity with the truth from the wellspring of your deep knowledge of Islam?
A1 : It is established by the Qur'an and the mass-transmitted Sunnah that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was taken in the Night Journey from the Sacred Mosque to the Farthest Mosque , and that he was ascended to the seventh heaven, where he saw what he saw of the prophets, the wondrous states, Paradise and Hellfire, and Allah (Mighty and Majestic) spoke to him without any intermediary and obligated upon him fifty prayers. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) continued to return to his Lord and ask for relief until the Lord (Blessed and Exalted is He) reduced them to five prayers in number, and fifty in
reward, and praise and grace belong to Allah. It is also established in the authentic hadiths that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saw Musa (peace be upon him) in the sixth heaven, and it was he who advised him to return to the Lord (Blessed and Exalted is He) to seek relief from the number of prayers. This is established in (the two Sahihs) and others. It is also established in (Sahih Muslim ), (Musnad of Imam Ahmad ), (Sunan of al-Nasa'i ), and (Sahih of Ibn Hibban ), from the hadith of Anas (may Allah be pleased with him): that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
I happened to pass by Moses on the occasion of the Night journey near the red mound (and found him) saying his prayer in his grave.مررت على موسى ليلة أسري عند الكثيب الأحمر، وهو قائم يصلي في قبره
Sahih Muslim 2375a
All of this is true, and it is obligatory to believe in it and submit to it, and to affirm that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) saw Musa (peace be upon him) praying in his grave, and that he saw him also in the heavens. Allah is capable of all things, and it is not permissible to deny what is established in the authentic texts from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) because of the bewilderment of the minds regarding it, or by analogizing the unseen world and the barzakh (the interval between death and resurrection) to the world of testimony, or by claiming that it is a fabrication of the Jews. All of that is error and misguidance, and a deviation from the straight path.
And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad and his family and his Companions.
