The meaning of the poet's statement: "But the Lord of the Worlds and His host, and His Messenger sent with the Qur'an, they testify that you are the enemies of the one whose affair is thus, forever, in every age, and for whatever reason Ahmad was your opponent, I mean Ibn Hanbal, the contented al-Shaybani, and for whatever reason after him your opponents were the people of hadith and the army of the Qur'an"

The Shaykh :"But the Lord of the Worlds and His host, and His Messenger sent with the Qur'an"
"they testify that you are the enemies of the one whose affair is thus, forever, in every age"
As for the fact that Allah (Mighty and Majestic) testifies that these people are the enemies of those who rule by the Book and the Sunnah, this is evident from the Book and the Sunnah. Likewise, the host of Allah testifies that these people are the enemies of everyone who rules by the Book and the Sunnah, because these theologians are the enemies of the Salaf, and the Salaf rule by the Book and the Sunnah. But how does the Messenger of Allah testify when he is dead? We say he testifies by what his Sunnah brought. He testifies by what his Sunnah brought. So every person who does not rule by the Book and the Sunnah, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) knows that he is an enemy of those who rule by the Book and the Sunnah. He says:
"And for whatever reason Ahmad was your opponent, I mean Ibn Hanbal, the contented al-Shaybani"
Was he their opponent? Yes, he was their opponent. They brought him before al-Ma'mun, and al-Ma'mun harmed him and imprisoned him. They debated Ahmad (may Allah have mercy on him), and he wrote letters refuting them, so he was their opponent.
"And for whatever reason after him your opponents were the people of hadith and the army of the Qur'an"
Everyone who says "Allah said" and "His Messenger said" is an enemy of these theologians who establish the creeds by what, O Ahmad? They establish them by the intellects they claim are intellects, but they are not intellects.
