The Meaning of the Poet's Statement: (Explaining that the Root of Misguidance is Ignorance and Prejudice) How can a lost person feel his affliction*** When the heart has been given two locks, a lock of compounded ignorance

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : He says: "How can a lost person feel his affliction*** When the heart has been given two locks"
We ask Allah for well-being. The lost person does not know his affliction, which is being lost, and two locks have been placed upon his heart.
"A lock of compounded ignorance above it*** A lock of prejudice"
I seek refuge in Allah. Compounded ignorance and prejudice. Who can withstand this? If you came to an uneducated person and spoke to him about a hadith of the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him), and he has a shaykh whom he follows, reveres, and respects, and he says to you, "No, you are ignorant. Shaykh So-and-So says such and such," this is compounded ignorance accompanied by prejudice. When compounded ignorance and prejudice come together, it is very unlikely that one who possesses them will find the right path. He said:
"And the keys to the locks are in the hand of the One who has the*** Disposal, Glory to the One of the Great Status"
Yes.
The student: ...

The Shaykh :"And the keys to the locks are in the hand of the One who has the*** Disposal, Glory to the One of the Great Status"
Yes, and He is Allah (Mighty and Majestic). The keys to the locks are in His hand (Glorified and Exalted is He). So do not turn to anyone other than Him, do not rely on yourself, and do not say, "I am on the right path, so no one will mislead me." The Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered those who hear of the Dajjal to stay away from him, for the man comes to him and sees that he is a believer, but he deviates because of the doubts he carries. Do not rely on the heart. Always ask Allah for steadfastness. Always ask Allah to guide you. Do not rely on yourself. And for this reason, he said:
"So ask Him to open the lock, striving with the*** Teeth, for the opening is by the teeth"
This means: Always ask Allah to open your heart and to make you succeed in the righteous deeds, which are the teeth of this lock. When it was said to some of them, "The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
The key to Paradise is: There is no god but Allah مفتاح الجنة لا إله إلا الله
," he said, "Yes, the Messenger spoke the truth, but the key needs teeth. If it has teeth, it opens; otherwise, it does not open." And this is correct. O Allah, guide us among those You have guided. Yes.
