The Shaykh : These are also hadiths to which the author (may Allah have mercy on him) referred. The first:
"And mention a hadith that Jabir narrated*** in which is healing for the seeker of faith
regarding the people of the uppermost Paradise and what*** they receive of favor and of kindness
While they are in their life and their bliss*** lo, a light of overwhelming brilliance
But they raised their heads toward Him*** and lo, it is the Most Merciful, the Owner of Forgiveness
So the Mighty One, Exalted is His Majesty*** truly greets them, and He is the Owner of Kindness"
This is a hadith narrated by Jabir that the people of Paradise, while they are in their bliss, their life, and their joy, suddenly see a brilliant light that fills the place and overwhelms the place. They raise their heads, and lo, it is Allah (Mighty and Majestic) who greets them with a greeting that they hear (Glorified and Exalted is He). This is evidence of His rising above (Glorified and Exalted is He). For this reason, he said:
"But they raised their heads toward Him" and raising is only toward the highest.
