Exegesis of the saying of Allah the Exalted: (Indeed, the righteous will be in gardens and bliss)]
In our previous session, we concluded with the saying of Allah, Blessed and Exalted is He: [Al-Tur: 17] This sentence is a declarative statement affirmed by (inna),And I will explain to you the affirmation: If I say, for example: "Knowledge is beneficial," this is a declarative statement devoid of affirmation,If you say: "Inna al-'ilmu nafi'un" (Indeed, knowledge is beneficial), this is a declarative statement affirmed by one affirming particle, which is (inna) If I say: "Inna al-'ilma lanafi'un" (Indeed, knowledge is certainly beneficial),So this is a declarative statement affirmed by two affirming particles: (inna and the lam) If I say: "Wallahi inna al-'ilma lanafi'un" (By Allah, indeed knowledge is certainly beneficial),So this is a declarative statement affirmed by three affirming particles, which are: (the oath, inna, and the lam) Affirmation is a style of the Arabic language used by the Arabs, and this Qur'an was revealed in the language of the Arabs. In reality, the news of Allah, Mighty and Majestic, does not need affirmation; because He is the most truthful in speech. So when Allah, Mighty and Majestic, informs of something, it does not need to be affirmed; because the news of Allah is truth. But because the great Qur'an was revealed in the Arabic tongue, it follows what the Arabs knew in their language.
And here Allah, Mighty and Majestic, affirmed this sentence: [Al-Tur: 17] with (inna) meaning: with one affirming particle.
Allah the Exalted said: [Al-Tur: 17] The righteous: they are those who performed obedience to Allah by complying with His command and avoiding His prohibition.
So taqwa (piety): Obedience to Allah by complying with His command and avoiding His prohibition,So the one who prays in compliance with the command of Allah, we say: He is a righteous person through his prayer,And the one who abstains from unlawful sexual intercourse, we say: He is a righteous person by abstaining from unlawful sexual intercourse.
And it is called taqwa (piety) because it is a protection from the punishment of Allah. If a person performs obedience to Allah, he has taken a protection from the punishment of Allah, Mighty and Majestic,These righteous ones, Allah, Mighty and Majestic, says: [Al-Tur: 17] and (jannat) is the plural of jannah, which is: the abode that Allah the Exalted has prepared for the righteous in the Hereafter,By the evidence of the saying of Allah, Blessed and Exalted is He: [Al-Imran: 133] We said: the abode that Allah the Exalted has prepared for His servants in the Hereafter. Is it possible for it to be in this world? We say: As for entering the Paradise which is the actual Paradise, this is not possible in this world. As for a person receiving from the bliss of Paradise what comes to him, this is possible,And that is in the grave when the person is asked: from his Lord, his religion, and his Prophet. So he answered correctly, and a bed from Paradise is spread for him, a door to Paradise is opened for him, and his grave is expanded for him to the extent of his sight.
So (jannat) is the plural of jannah, which is the abode that Allah has prepared for the righteous in the Hereafter. And it is pluralized; because they are types. Allah, Glorified and Exalted is He, mentioned four types in Surat al-Rahman: [Al-Rahman: 46] Then He said: [Al-Rahman: 62] So these are four, and these four gardens differ in what came in their description in Surat al-Rahman,He (Mighty and Majestic) says: [Al-Tur: 17] (na'im) meaning: the bliss of the body and the bliss of the heart. They are in perpetual joy, they are in perpetual health, and they are in perpetual life. So all types of bliss are complete for them. We ask Allah to make us and you among them.
In our previous session, we concluded with the saying of Allah, Blessed and Exalted is He:
Indeed, the righteous will be in gardens and pleasure,
And here Allah, Mighty and Majestic, affirmed this sentence:
Indeed, the righteous will be in gardens and pleasure,
Allah the Exalted said:
Indeed, the righteous will be in gardens and pleasure,
So taqwa (piety): Obedience to Allah by complying with His command and avoiding His prohibition,So the one who prays in compliance with the command of Allah, we say: He is a righteous person through his prayer,And the one who abstains from unlawful sexual intercourse, we say: He is a righteous person by abstaining from unlawful sexual intercourse.
And it is called taqwa (piety) because it is a protection from the punishment of Allah. If a person performs obedience to Allah, he has taken a protection from the punishment of Allah, Mighty and Majestic,These righteous ones, Allah, Mighty and Majestic, says:
in gardens and pleasure,
And hasten to forgiveness from your Lord and a garden as wide as the heavens and earth, prepared for the righteous
So (jannat) is the plural of jannah, which is the abode that Allah has prepared for the righteous in the Hereafter. And it is pluralized; because they are types. Allah, Glorified and Exalted is He, mentioned four types in Surat al-Rahman:
