The Belief of the Jahmiyyah Regarding the Exaltation of Allah (Mighty and Majestic), an Explanation of Their Divisions on This Matter, and a Refutation of Them: And for this reason, Jahm said: The Lord of the Throne is not outside these universes

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh :"And for this reason, Jahm said: The Lord of the Throne is not outside these universes
No, nor is He above the highest heavens, nor is the Throne of a Lord or a Rahman
There is no Lord above them whom our foreheads obey, bowing down to Him in submission"

Jahm ibn Safwan, the leader of the Jahmiyyah, says: Allah is not above the Throne, nor above the heavens, and there is no Lord above the heavens. Who is Allah? They divided into two groups. One group of the Jahmiyyah said that Allah is in every place by His essence: in the mosque, in the market, in the desert, in every place. Do not say He is above the heavens.
Another group said that Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) is not above, nor below, nor to the right, nor to the left, nor inside, nor outside, nor connected, nor disconnected. Yes, where did He go? He does not exist. So those people, may Allah protect us from them, made Him in every place, and these people emptied every place of Him. Good.
Yes, do you know what ta'wil (figurative interpretation) is, and what ta'wil is among the Jahmiyyah? They say: If we said that Allah is above, it would necessitate that He is in a direction, that He is limited, that He is a body, that He is in a space, and so on. And we say to them, as mentioned before, we refute them by saying that none of this is necessary regarding the exaltation of Allah, except what is befitting Him (Mighty and Majestic).
