Twenty aspects that invalidate the interpretation of *istiwa'* as *istawla*, so do not depart from the Qur'an. I have dedicated a work to it, which is, in our view, the classification of a learned, divine scholar (he is the Shaykh al-Islam

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh :"Twenty aspects that invalidate the interpretation of *istiwa'* as *istawla*, so do not depart from the Qur'an"
O Allah, grant us the ability not to depart from it. Do not depart from the Qur'an. If Allah had intended *istawla*, what would prevent Him from saying *istawla*? Does anyone prevent Him?
The student: No.

The Shaykh : Never. He intended *istawa*, not *istawla*. And for this reason, he said: "Do not depart from the Qur'an". Twenty aspects, he says:
"I have dedicated a work to it, which is, in our view, the classification of a learned, divine scholar"
And Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah (may Allah have mercy on him) has a book in which he invalidated the meaning of *istawla* for *istawa* from twenty aspects. May Allah have mercy on him and reward him with good for the Ummah of Muhammad. A learned *habr*. *Habir* is a word with three possible vowels for the *ha*: *hibr*, *habr*, *hubr*. Its meaning is the one with extensive knowledge. It is derived from the sea, but it is a greater derivation, because the lesser derivation is what ... the letters. And this is different. A divine scholar.
