The Shaykh : What came was a question
The reader: He said, may Allah have mercy on him: "It contains issues: The first: The interpretation of the saying of Allah the Exalted:
the earth entirely will be [within] His grip on the Day of Resurrection والأرض جميعا قبضته يوم القيامة
[Az-Zumar 39:67]
"

The Shaykh : Yes, and the hadith of Ibn Mas'ud has been mentioned previously, how the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) mentioned it to confirm what was mentioned by whom?
The student: The scholar

The Shaykh : The Jewish scholar, yes
The reader: "The second: That these sciences and their like remain"

The Shaykh :"and their like"
The reader: Here

The Shaykh :"and their like"
The reader: Yes "That these sciences and their like remain with the Jews who were in his time (peace and blessings be upon him); they did not deny them and did not interpret them figuratively"

The Shaykh : May Allah have mercy on him, it is as if he is saying that the Jews are better than those who distort, no? They did not deny them, they did not lie about them, and they did not interpret them figuratively. And a group from this Ummah said that Allah has no fingers, and what is meant by fingers is power. So it is as if Shaykh Muhammad, may Allah have mercy on him, the Shaykh al-Islam, is saying that the Jews became better than these people and more knowledgeable about Allah than these people. Yes.
The reader: "The third: That when the scholar mentioned it to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), he believed him"

The Shaykh : That is, in my view, "when he mentioned that"
The student: ...

The Shaykh : No, that, write it down
The reader: "The third: That when the scholar mentioned that to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), he believed him, and the Qur'an was revealed confirming that"

The Shaykh : The apparent wording of the author: "and the Qur'an was revealed" is that it was after the scholar's statement, and that is not the case.
