Reading from the words of the poet: A chapter on the discussion of the life of the prophets in their graves... to the end of the chapter

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The reader: "A chapter on the discussion of the life of the prophets in their graves
And for this reason, Nasir sought to patch up your claim, *** O how great is the creation of the two worlds
The Messenger said that he is alive in his grave, just *** as he was above the earth and the stones
Above him are layers of that soil, and the *** bricks have been laid upon the walls
If he were alive in the tomb, his life *** before death would be without any distinction
He is not beneath the earth, but above it, *** and by Allah, this is the way of the Most Merciful"

The Shaykh : ... the qaf and the ha after ... correct, meaning but above it, all of it in the first hemistich. I have the first hemistich here, its end is: from above, yes.
The reader: "Do you see him alive beneath the earth, and then *** he does not issue rulings for them regarding the laws of faith
And he relieves his community"

The Shaykh : And he relieves
The reader: "And he relieves his community from opinions and the *** great following and all falsehood
Or is he alive but unable to speak *** and to answer a questioner who is in error
And to move? So what is this life that you *** have affirmed? Clarify it with explanation
This, and why did not his companions come to him *** complaining of the wrath of the wicked deceiver
When that was their habit, and their Prophet *** was alive, witnessing them with direct observation
Has any report reached you that his Companions *** asked him for a ruling while he was in the shrouds
And he answered them with the answer of a living speaker? *** Then bring forth the truth and the proof
Why did he not answer them with a sufficient answer *** when he was alive and speaking with his tongue"

The Shaykh : When, or if?

The Shaykh : When?
The reader: No, if.

The Shaykh : Yes, you said when.
The reader: "Why did he not answer them with a sufficient answer *** if he was alive and speaking with his tongue
This, and why did not his mounts depart from the *** chambers for the distant ones from the lands
Despite his great eagerness to guide them *** by the ways of clarification
Do you see him witnessing their opinion and their disagreement *** and being one who conceals the clarification
If you say the clarification preceded, you have spoken the truth *** he was one who did kindness through repetition
This, and how many matters became obscure after him *** I mean for the scholars of every age
Or do you not see the Second Caliph wished that he *** had been from him a covenant of clarification
In the earnestness regarding his inheritance"

The Shaykh : In the earnestness
The reader: "In the earnestness regarding his inheritance and the kinship *** and some of the gates of the deceptive usury
The Second Caliph fell short in the view of your group *** when he did not ask him while he was in the shrouds
Do you think they would come around his tomb *** to ask their mother, the most noble of horses
And their Prophet is alive, witnessing them and hearing *** them, and yet he does not bring them any clarification
Was he unable to answer with his speech *** if he was alive inside the building
O our people, be ashamed before the people of intellect and the resur- *** rection by the Qur'an and the Most Merciful
And by Allah, you did not know the status of the Messenger *** no, nor of the soul and the human being
Whoever this is the extent of his knowledge *** let him hide behind silence and concealment
And indeed Allah has made clear that His Messenger *** is dead, as has come in the Qur'an
Did it come that Allah will raise him for us *** in the grave before the resurrection of the bodies
Are there three deaths for His messengers *** and for others of His creation"

The Shaykh : ...
The reader: Did you hear?

The Shaykh : Three
The reader: "Are there three deaths for His messengers *** and for others of"

The Shaykh : And for others
The reader: "Are there three deaths for His messengers *** and for others of His creation, two deaths
For when the Trumpet is blown, no person *** remains alive on the earth, by the proof
Do the messengers die or do they remain when ***"

The Shaykh : Or do they remain
The reader: Do they remain

The Shaykh : Yes.
The reader: "Do the messengers die or do they remain when *** the people die, or do you have two sayings
So speak with knowledge, not claim, and bring *** forth the evidence, for we have minds
Or did not those before you say to al-Rafi'i, *** the voices around the grave with denial
Do not raise your voices, the sanctity of His servant *** is dead, as is his sanctity with the living
It was possible for them to say that he *** is alive, but they lowered their voices with kindness
But they knew Allah better than you *** and His Messenger and the realities of faith
And indeed they came one day to al-Abbas, seeking *** rain from drought and aridity of the time
This, and between them and their Prophet *** was the wall and the chamber of the women
So their Prophet is alive, and they seek rain from *** other than their Prophet, may Allah protect the people of faith"
