Is it permissible to recite quietly in the 'Asr prayer?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : Is it permissible to recite quietly in the 'Asr prayer?

The Shaykh : The recitation in the 'Asr prayer is quiet.

The questioner : Yes.

The Shaykh : Likewise in the Zuhr prayer, but in the Maghrib, 'Isha', Fajr, Jumu'ah, the two 'Eids, the prayer for rain, and the eclipse prayer, it is loud.
As for the night prayer, it was loud so that people would listen to the recitation of their imam, and all hearts would be in agreement on this recitation.
And as for Jumu'ah, the two 'Eids, the prayer for rain, and the eclipse prayer, it is because they are places where people gather, so their gathering on the recitation of their imam alone is more conducive to enthusiasm and listening. Yes.

The questioner : May Allah bless you. He says.
