And indeed, you have helped us in refuting this *** You and we, so there are two statements here (Mentioning the Shaykh al-Islam’s report of the Salaf’s consensus that whoever denies the vision is a disbeliever)

The Shaykh :"And indeed, you have helped us in refuting this *** You and we, so there are two statements here"
So the Asha'irah deny that Allah is seen, may Allah keep us safe, even though the Shaykh al-Islam (may Allah have mercy on him) said: This innovation is an innovation of disbelief, to the extent that he reported in some places of his speech the consensus of the Salaf on declaring as a disbeliever whoever denies the vision of Allah. He said: Because it came in the Book and the Sunnah, and the Salaf agreed upon it, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
You will surely see your Lord with your eyes, just as you see the sun on a clear day with no clouds between you and it, and just as you see the moon on the night of the full moon. إنكم سترون ربّكم عِيانا كما ترون الشمسَ صحواً ليس دونها سحاب وكما ترون القمر ليلة البدر
Is there any statement more eloquent than this in that the vision is a vision of the eye? Absolutely not, there is nothing more eloquent than this statement, nor clearer than this statement. So whoever denies it has denied what its meaning is a definitive matter in which there is no doubt.
